We have teamed up with our neighbours at Nest - Family Wellness, to bring you a special wax carving pendant workshop. Join us for a relaxed and creative evening, where you’ll learn the skill of wax carving and create your very own pendant.

You’ll spend the evening carving a pendant from jeweller’s wax, with guidance and inspiration along the way. No previous experience is needed, just come along, get creative and enjoy some time for yourself.

Once you’re happy with your design, leave your wax carving with us and we will have it cast in recycled sterling silver, then polish it up ready for you to wear.
Your pendant can be completely personal to you. Alongside our examples and inspiration you can explore your own ideas during the workshop. Handwritten initials or small drawings can be added to your wax pendant. Bring along a little piece of your child’s handwriting or one of their drawings to use as inspiration for your pendant.

In collaboration with Nest - Family Wellness these workshops are designed as a lovely opportunity to slow down, get creative and spend an evening doing something just for you. Come with a friend, meet some other parents or just spend a few hours making something personal with your hands.

5.30 pm - Arrive at Nest for tea & snacks

6.00pm - Workshop begins in our jewellery teaching studio (we are next door to Nest)

We have free on-street parking. Nearby train stations include Bridgeton (5 minute walk) and Bellgrove (15 minute walk)

Nest & The Bench are located in Brook Street Business Hub, 117 Brook Street, Glasgow, G40 3AP. 2nd floor with lift access.

Pendant Collection/Delivery

Your wax pendant will be left with us to be cast in sterling silver and will be ready within 4 weeks of the workshop.

You will be emailed when it is ready to collect from the studio or choose to have it posted to you via Royal Mail First Class Signed For.

Additional Information

This workshop is for complete beginners. All you need to bring along is yourself and any glasses you may need to wear for close up work. If you would like to bring any design inspiration please feel free!

Extras such as having your pendant gold plated or gemstones added can be organised. Speak to us on the day for pricing.
